Rather than a Singles Ladder, this year we're trying something new called a Singles Pyramid. The main difference between the two is that everybody starts at the lowest level and advance based upon the number of match wins against bowlers in the same or higher level.  To learn more about how the pyramid works, please read the rules below.

Conceptually, a Singles Pyramid competition is very simple. Visualize a pyramid being built with stone blocks. When you start, you lay the first level of stone. (This is where every competitor starts.) Then you add stones on top of the first level to build it higher (when you win), and so on until you have a pyramid. The top stone on the pyramid is the winner.

Generally speaking:

  1. Everybody always starts on the bottom level.
  2. If you win a match against someone on or above your level, you go to the next level.
  3. If you win a match against someone on a lower level or lose a match, you stay where you are. On the same level.

You can challenge any competitor at any time. However, you move one level up when you win against someone in or above your level.

You can sign up at any time by paying your $10 entry fee. Either write your name on the list at the club and put your money in a greens fee envelope labeled with your name and "Pyramid" or pay through PayPal below.
