LBLBC Memberships are per person. There are no family, household, spousal, or youth memberships. Each person pays for a membership.
You do get a $35 break in a full membership fee if you are a primary member of another Bowls USA Lawn Bowling Club.
If you're interested in joining Laguna Beach Lawn Bowling Club, but would first like to try the game before committing to joining, we offer one free introductory lesson to give you an idea if you would like to join. Please contact the club and arrangements for the lesson will be made with one of our certified club coaches.
Following the first lesson, if you decide that you do want to join, we will need your contact information, and payment of the dues (by either cash, check, or credit cards). Once payment is received, we'll order your name badge which will arrive at the club in less than 2 weeks.
After your 3 lessons are completed, you will receive a key to the club to use at your leisure.
New member dues are pro-rated quarterly from the yearly $250.00 dues (see fee schedule below). * Includes Southwest Division and Bowls USA dues.
If you join before the 20th of a month, your membership will commence the 1st day of that month. If you join after the 20th of the month, your membership will commence on the 1st day of the following month.
In addition to member dues is an initiation fee of $50 which covers your name badge, club key, Bowls USA booklet, and lessons.
Note: If you're a new member and already a primary member of another club, if you pay prorated dues, you cannot also subtract the standard $35 discount for being a member of another club. If you pay full dues, you can. No double discounts...
If you're already a member, these fees are applicable throughout the year. No prorated fees.
Guest Fees are $3.00 per guest per day, which include access to clubhouse facilities, club bowls and the greens. A guest must be accompanied by a LBLBC member with a maximum of 6 guests per LBLBC member group. Fees are to be placed in envelopes provided in front of the office and deposited into the adjacent slot. A particular person may be a guest for at most 3 times during the year, after which that person must become a member to again utilize the club.
