- Laguna will be hosting a Bowls, Dinner, and Music evening on Saturday, September 17th at the club starting at 4:00pm. We will bowl a 10-end game beginning at 4 o'clock with a catered dinner and music by member Ginger Hatfield to follow. Try to get there 30 minutes early so the bowling can start on time.
- Sign up deadline is September 10th as we MUST give the caterer an accurate number by then.
BYOB and get ready for some fun!!!

3.7.20 Patriots Day Parade!

For the first time in recent memory, the Laguna Beach Lawn Bowling Club marched in Laguna Beach's 53rd Annual Patriots Day Parade. We were #78 towards the back of the parade, but about 20 spirited bowlers represented the club! A good start I suppose for the largest lawn bowling club in the United States (currently 252 members). 10%. Eh...
Anyway, people were genuinely interested in what a bowl was. Ginger Hatfield brought hers and the parade onlookers were able to hold her bowl when there was a lull in the marching.
Marching? Well actually it was more like walking. However, when the mood hit, we did "1,2,3 bowl" drills and "we're 2 up" drills. We looked good out there in our blue and whites, whites, and dolphin shirts!
A hearty "Well Done" to those who participated. (We saw quite a few bowlers attending the parade as we marched. Maybe next year they can join us!)
2.14.20 Valentines Day Bowl & Pot Luck
Friday Feb 14, 2020: 3:30pm - 6:30pm
- Laguna will be hosting a Valentines Day Bowl & Potluck at the club starting at 3:30pm. This is basically a reason to have another social bowl after an early workday on Friday. It's very relaxed. The sign up sheet is on the locker room door.
- A perfect Valentine's Day evening out. Avoid those restaurants and show your affection with bowls! Oh yeah, and bring something to eat!
6.29.19 Social Bowl With Pizza!
Saturday June 29, 2019: 9:45am - 1:30pm
Just show up. Pizza served following the game.
On Day of Event
- 9:45am - Sign in. Teams will be randomly assigned. Opponents will be randomly selected.
- 10:00am - Everybody plays a single 12-end game.
- 12:30pm - Pizza is served!
