LBLBC Memberships are per person. There are no family, household, spousal, or youth memberships. Each person pays for a membership.
There are 2 types of memberships: A Primary Club Member and a Secondary Club Member.
Primary Club Members have elected to designate the LBLBC as their primary club and they may or may not be members of another lawn bowling club.
Secondary Club Members have designated another Bowls USA Lawn Bowling Club as their primary club. Secondary club members get a break on the primary club membership fee per the Membership Rates fee structure below.
Club Policy dictates that all sales are final and no refunds will be issued except for exceptional circumstances as determined and approved by the board.
By renewing your membership, you agree to conduct yourself in a respectful manner at all times at the Laguna Beach Lawn Bowling Club (LBLBC) facility. As a member, you take responsibility for your own personal conduct, and are responsible for the conduct of your family, guests or invitees. In consideration of being permitted to participate in LBLBC, Division or Bowls USA activities, you hereby take this action for yourself, your executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows:
A. I Waive, Release and Discharge from any and all liability for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft or actions of any kinds which may hereafter occur to me, LBLBC, the Division, Bowls USA, the City of Laguna Beach, and their officers and directors and members.
B. I do, and agree to, Indemnify and Hold Harmless the aforesaid entities and individuals for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, assignees and successors from any and all claims including claims arising from the releasee’s own negligence, and from any and all injuries and/or damages which may be sustained by me directly or indirectly in connection with, or arising out of my participation in activities at LBLBC, and/or including without limitation travel to or return from LBLBC.
C. I understand that I may be subject to photograph and/or video on the premises, and I agree to allow my photo, video or likeness to be used for legitimate purposes by LBLBC, and media sources, without payment or any other form of compensation.
If you're interested in joining Laguna Beach Lawn Bowling Club, but would first like to try the game before committing to joining, we offer one free introductory lesson to give you an idea if you would like to join. Please contact the club and arrangements for the lesson will be made with one of our certified club coaches.
Following the first lesson, if you decide that you do want to join, we will need your contact information, and payment of the dues (by either cash, check, credit card, or online). Once payment is received, we'll order your name badge which will arrive at the club in less than 2 weeks.
After your 3 lessons are completed, you will receive a key to the club to use at your leisure.

New club member dues are prorated from the yearly dues (see fee schedule). * Includes Southwest Division and Bowls USA dues.
If you join before the 20th of a month, your membership will commence the 1st day of that month and the fee for that month applies. Similarly, if you join after the 20th of the month, your membership will commence on the 1st day of the following month and the fee for that month applies.
In addition to member dues is an initiation fee which covers your name badge, club key, Bowls USA booklet, and lessons.
A guest is a person invited to LBLBC by the club or a club member to introduce them to the game of lawn bowling. Regardless of the number of members in the group attendance, the total number of guests is restricted to a maximum of 6 on any given day and time. Otherwise, the group is defined as a Private Event which requires Board approval and adherence to our defined club’s private event policy.
Members bringing guests are to place a guest fee of $5.00 per person in an envelope provided at the office door or pay for it using the QR code posted by the counter. On the envelope or via the QR code, enter both the member and guests names, the date, total guest fees,
and deposit it.
A particular person may be a guest for at most 3 times during the year, after which that person must become a member to again utilize the club.
